Tommy of the Big Top #11

Tommy sneaks into the circus after a girl named Grace accidentally destroys his play with a pie. While attending, a crane breaks and releases a tiger from its cage near the circus grounds. Tommy and Sue must warn the other circus workers and prevent the escaped tiger from causing harm, including stopping it from being hit by an oncoming truck on a nearby trestle crossing.
