An Irish girl in London is out of work and has lost her boyfriend. When she sees the moon that night, she turns her money over for luck. The next day while coming back from the model agency with no prospects, she ducks into the auctioneer's to get out of the rain. When she attempts to stifle a sneeze, she learns she has bid twenty-five pounds for statue. Fortunately, a man comes up late and offers her forty pounds for it. A young man who saw what happened asks her out that night.
