The beloved Dupuis series Les Femmes en Blanc returns with its trademark warmth and humor in this 2014 volume subtitled Neuf mois de gros stress. The cover says it all: a very pregnant patient reclines on an examination table while a nurse points to an ultrasound monitor displaying a crowd of cheerful, jostling babies — a wonderfully absurd image that sets the comic tone perfectly. Creators Bercovici and Cauvin are clearly having a great time mining the delightful chaos of maternity care for laughs.
