This issue contains three historical Wild West stories under the "Obey the Law" banner. "Sure Shootin'" by Claude Moore recounts Buffalo Bill Cody's expertise as a marksman and tales of frontier figures including Jack Smythe, a gold prospector who lived in poverty in a clay hut despite finding high-grade ore, and Sam Draton of Deadwood, who was freed of a murder charge after eleven years. "Burly Will Grady and His Gang of Ruthless Rustlers" describes the notorious outlaw Burly Will Grady, a cattle thief and killer from 1860s Arizona who terrorized ranches across the territory with his gang. "Killer Tom Curtis" tells of Tom Curtis, one of the Old West's most ruthless desperadoes, featuring an 1892 encounter in Wyoming between Curtis and cattle barons Jed Radin and Ray Fovey, with Tom Curtis ultimately hanged in 1910.
