IDW's 2005 adaptation of Konami's beloved vampire-hunting franchise continues with this atmospheric second issue, written by Marc Andreyko with art by E. J. Su. Robert Teranishi's cover art sets an ominous tone — a pale-skinned, blue-tinged vampire figure draped in a red-lined cape clutches an unconscious fair-haired woman amid swirling shadows and jagged lightning, the looming gothic architecture of Castle Dracula framing the scene. It's a genuinely compelling image that captures the series' blend of dread and dark romance right at the heart of the Belmont legacy.
