Animal Urbano #5

Dec 1997 · Grupo Imaginador de Ediciones S.A.
“Invasores microscópicos”

"Invasores microscópicos" delivers a haunting, surreal turn in the Desalojo prequel arc, as Animal Urbano is captured and electrocuted by Comisario Gutiérrez’s forces during the demolition of Villa de Emergencia El Palito. Written by Guillermo Grillo Ciocchini and drawn with intense precision by Edu Molina—both inks and pencils—the issue blurs the line between nightmare and reality, as a disembodied voice claims the events were just a dream, only for Animal Urbano to break free. The arc ends at the ruined villa sign, where the creature stands over the ashes of the place that forged him.

Continuing the Desalojo prequel arc, Animal Urbano is captured and subjected to electrocution by Comisario Gutiérrez's forces during the forced demolition of Villa de Emergencia El Palito. The disembodied voice destabilizes reality — telling him he dreamed the entire sequence — before he breaks free. The arc concludes at the demolished villa sign, the creature (Animal Urbano) standing over the ruins of the place that made him.
