SWEARINGEN gel 1 contained the platinum from a single reduction, platinum gel 2 contained the platinum from two complete successive reductions by adsorbed hydrogen, No. 3 was subjected to three reductions and No. 4 contained the platinum from four reductions. These measurements were made at o°. Table V gives the adsorption values for the four platinized gels.
