Alumnus HEN his team scored in the sec- ond period, Mr. Price glowed with pride. Those fellows down be- putting up a great fight against a favored opponent. They had shown plenty of fight all year, in fact, but this afternoon they were display- ing skill, too. Of course some of them were ably oe gerated, but where there's all that smoke, there must be some fire. The other side, going through its snake dance, seemed wildly excited. It was different with his own uni- versity. It didn’t have to rely on foot- hall victories for prestige. It was great in its own right. It would always be one of America’s most famous universi- one of the ones best thought of in wreign countries—like England, for in- ties, ance. It was nice to be well-thought of in England. No, his university didn’t need to stoop to proselyting for dumb athletes to make a name for itself. Again Mr. Price glowed. He was still mighty proud to be an alumnus.
