Buying on Faith and Tracing Results . Most of the advertisers who use space in the Terminal taxicabs have no means of knowing the results they obtain, Wanamaker, for instance, has no way of checking. The proprictors of the Seaglades Restaurant, at the St. Regis, cannot possibly ask their guests if they came because they saw the advertisement in some medium. Therefore the receipt of a letter from an advertiser telling us they had gotten results : was a news event in our office. It is for that reason we are publishing below the letter from C. C.
