# Content of This Issue
This 1928 Argosy All-Story Weekly issue features three serialized adventures and five complete stories. The lead serial is George F. Worts's "The Crime Circus," described as a case that rocked a state. R. de S. Horn contributes "The Golden Traitor," set during the era when the U.S. capital relocated. George M. Johnson's "Trouble Ranch" depicts a conflict between speed-witted operators and dishonest schemes.
Complete stories include F. V. W. Mason's "Brothers in Red," a World War novelette featuring American soldiers and a Native American corporal named Lance observing French retreats and anticipating German attack in France. Other stories range from romantic comedy—Nell Martin's "The Lie That Binds" (love on installment plans)—to boxing drama and adventure. Thomas B. Thomson's "The Duchess and the Fight Racket," Jack Woodford's "Out Of the Sky," and A. T. Locke's "Will Power in Packsaddle" complete the fiction offerings. Nonfiction features include essays on dance hall mining, ivory valleys, and Ozark modernization.
