This issue contains ten crime stories across varied themes. The cover story "Crime on His Hands" by H.Q. Masur follows a small-town youth learning criminal methods through a murder case. Norman A. Daniels's "Taken for a Slay Ride" depicts an invisible threat beyond police control. Maurice Phillips's "Deck of Death" involves death dealt through cards, while Robert Turner's "Filmtown Fadeout" centers on a screen star drawn into a homicide scenario. Additional stories include J.
