Xiola

Josh Gorchov’s four-issue series for Xero Comics, Xiola (1994–1995), is a self-contained, creator-owned work from the mid-90s indie boom. Gorchov wrote and drew the entire run, bringing a singular vision to this short but distinctive title. A compact artifact of its era, it showcases the kind of personal, small-press storytelling that flourished outside the mainstream.
