Whoopee Book of Frankie Stein
IPC · 1976–1977 · 2 issues
About the series
A short-lived but lively IPC title from the mid-1970s, Whoopee Book of Frankie Stein spun off the popular horror-comedy character from the pages of Whoopee! into his own two-issue series. Blending gags and monster mayhem, it showcased the distinctive, cartoony art style of writer/artist Ken Reid, a key figure in British humour comics. Though brief, the series captures the playful, anarchic spirit of the IPC humour line during that era.
