In 2023, Editions Paquet SARL launched a new French comic series reviving the classic occult detective Thomas Carnacki, a character created by writer William Hope Hodgson. The series adapts Hodgson's early 20th-century supernatural mysteries into the bande dessinée format, with a single issue released so far. It brings a vintage occult detective to a modern European audience, preserving the eerie, rationalist tone of the original stories.
