About the series
In 2004–2005, Dark Horse published The Dare Detectives, a two-issue series that paired a noir detective setup with a whimsical, all-ages tone. Written and drawn by Ben Caldwell, the story follows a young girl who teams up with a talking cat and a robot to solve mysteries in a colorful, cartoonish city.
