Tales from the Pit

An anthology series launched by the Memphis Comic Expo in 2020, Tales from the Pit collects short stories and vignettes from a rotating cast of independent creators. Though only a single issue has been released so far, it serves as a showcase for regional talent and a sampler of the Expo's creative community. Its importance lies in its role as a grassroots platform, spotlighting voices that might otherwise go unheard in the larger comics landscape.
