Splatter

From 1991 onward, Ediciones Makoki’s Splatter ran for seven issues, carving out a niche in Spanish horror comics with its unflinching, gore-drenched storytelling. The series is most closely associated with its creator, who blended visceral artwork and transgressive narratives to push the boundaries of the genre. Though brief, Splatter remains a cult touchstone for its raw, unapologetic embrace of splatterpunk aesthetics within the European indie scene.
