About the series
In 1992–1993, Viz Media brought Kia Asamiya's cyberpunk manga Silent Möbius to English-speaking readers in a two-issue comic adaptation. Set in a near-future Tokyo besieged by otherworldly creatures, the series follows the all-female Attacked Mystification Police as they battle supernatural threats with technology and magic. Though brief, this release marked an early effort to introduce Asamiya's distinctive blend of high-tech action and occult horror to an American audience.
