About the series
In 2008, Dupuis published the single-issue Marzi - Cœurs Sauvages, a standalone album in the acclaimed autobiographical series about the childhood of a young Polish girl. This volume collects earlier short stories, offering a tender, slice-of-life look at growing up in 1980s Poland under the shadow of communism. Though brief, it is a poignant entry in a series celebrated for its warm, humanist storytelling and its collaboration between writer Marzena Sowa and artist Sylvain Savoia.
