About the series
In the late 1990s, Little Gloomy emerged from Slave Labor Graphics as a darkly charming, six-issue series written by Landry Q. Walker and illustrated by Eric Jones. The book follows a young girl in a world populated by classic monsters and fairy-tale creatures, blending a childlike sense of wonder with a gothic, slightly off-kilter sensibility. Its gentle, character-driven humor and distinctive, expressive art made it a quiet cult favorite of the alternative-comics era.
