Le Moine fou

In the mid-1980s, Belgian writer-artist Vink launched Le Moine fou for Dargaud, a darkly humorous fantasy series that follows the chaotic adventures of a mad monk through a surreal, medieval-inspired world. Over the course of ten issues spanning from 1984 to 1999, Vink's distinctive linework and deadpan storytelling carved out a cult niche in Franco-Belgian comics. The series is remembered today as a singular, idiosyncratic vision—a personal project that showcases Vink's full creative control as both writer and artist.
