Le Contact

A single-issue graphic novel from French publisher Casterman, Le Contact (2004–present) is a self-contained story by writer/artist Éric Corbeyran and artist Philippe Nicloux. The series explores a tense, intimate first-contact scenario between humans and an alien intelligence, distinguished by Nicloux’s striking, atmospheric artwork. Though only one issue has been released, it stands as a notable example of European science-fiction comics.
