About the series
In 2007, Casterman published a single-issue comic adaptation of Adolfo Bioy Casares’s classic novel L'Invention de Morel. This graphic novel, created by the French team of writer Jean-Pierre Pécau and artist Stevan Roudaut, translates the existential science-fiction tale of a fugitive on a mysterious island where a strange machine blurs reality and illusion. Though a standalone work, it stands as a thoughtful, visually distinctive reimagining of a foundational Argentine literary masterpiece for a European comics audience.
