In the wake of the Crime Syndicate’s takeover, Forever Evil: A.R.G.U.S. (2013–2014) follows the embattled agents of the government organization as they struggle to maintain order and rescue their captured director, Steve Trevor. Written by Sterling Gates with art by Neil Edwards, Javier Pina, and Philip Tan, this six-issue DC miniseries expands the scope of the Forever Evil event by focusing on the human side of the crisis. It offers a tense, espionage-flavored look at the heroes without powers who must operate in a world overrun by villains.
