Die wundersamen Abenteuer von Papyrus

In the late 1980s, the German publisher Boiselle-Löhmann-Verlag brought Lucien De Gieter's beloved Egyptian adventure series Papyrus to a new audience with Die wundersamen Abenteuer von Papyrus. Across three issues, writer/artist De Gieter, joined by co-writer Marie Chammas-Helmbrecht, continued the fantastical journeys of a young Egyptian boy and his divine protectors. This short-lived but charming German edition introduced the series' signature blend of historical myth and lighthearted fantasy to readers beyond its original French run.
