Crimes d'Art

Created by Jean-Luc Cornette and Philippe Riche, Crimes d'Art launched in 1995 from French publisher Vents d'Ouest as a standalone one-shot. The story weaves a mystery set in the world of fine art, where a series of thefts and forgeries entangles an art restorer in a dangerous conspiracy. Though brief, this single issue established a template for art-world thrillers in European comics.
