Chic Young's Dagwood

Magazine Management published six issues of Chic Young's Dagwood from 1951 to 1952, a spin-off comic centered on the beloved bumbling husband from the long-running Blondie newspaper strip. Created by Chic Young, the series offered standalone domestic comedies featuring Dagwood Bumstead's signature mishaps—from towering sandwiches to sofa-sleeping—without his wife Blondie taking the lead.
