Barney and the Blue Note

A short-lived but visually striking 1988 comic from Paul Rijperman, featuring the painted artwork of Jacques de Loustal. The series centers on the mysterious adventures of its title character. Though it only ran for a single issue, the collaboration between Rijperman and de Loustal produced a unique, atmospheric artifact of late-80s European comics.
