Tom Corbett and fellow space cadets crash-land on an alien planet where they encounter a large tiger and must find shelter. After establishing a cave base and attempting to contact Captain Strong, Tom and Astro work to repair their damaged ship by coiling wire around it and connecting it to the atomic-electric generator to create an electro-magnet that will lift the Polaris into the air. The cadets successfully complete the repair work needed to reconnect the ship to its generator.
