This is an anthology issue containing multiple stories. "Gabby Hayes and the Fake Brand" follows Gabby Hayes, foreman of the Bar Nothing ranch, as he discovers cattle rustlers using a fake branding iron; he confronts the criminals and works with authorities to apprehend them. A separate humorous story depicts a man trapped in a building who must choose between jumping from a high window or fighting his way out, ultimately deciding to punch his way to freedom and escape through a door. The issue also includes additional tales, as indicated by the cover's promise of "13 stories down" and references to other adventures within its 52 pages.
