Voodoo #7

This issue contains at least two stories. "Voodoo Canals" follows Sue Prentis, a bargain-hunting antique shopper who discovers a cracked, peeling painting of a woman in an old shop; the painting's subject comes to life and reveals herself to be Sue's double, warning that the painting is a voodoo curse before vanishing. In a separate story, locusts emit a mysterious otherworldly shriek in a Dakota field, prompting earthlings to discover that harpies from another planet are summoning the insects to invade Earth, with the locusts beginning their destructive migration toward the planet.
