True Believers: X-Men - Havok #1
"Mission: Murder!" kicks off a tense, high-stakes X-Men arc with Roy Thomas writing and Neal Adams illustrating a gripping tale of sacrifice and survival. When Sentinels attack Beast and Iceman, Bobby’s heroic choice to hold the line sets the stage for a global mutant crisis, leading Angel, Cyclops, and Jean on a desperate flight home. Meanwhile, Iceman is captured and brought to Trask’s base, where he reunites with Lorna and a newly dubbed Havok—Alex, now confined in a containment suit. The cover, a striking Neal Adams original with inks by Tom Palmer, captures the moment’s urgency.
