Space Adventures #8 is an anthology featuring two science fiction stories. "Pet Hate!" follows space voyagers who land on the asteroid Pharisees to establish a colony, only to discover the asteroid harbors hidden dangers that threaten their new home. "The Cycle of Death" chronicles research scientist Hugh Mason and his childhood friend Peter Fresno as they explore a lost Martian civilization, uncovering artifacts and evidence of an advanced culture while discovering a mysterious alien plant that begins to bloom and threaten their lives with tendrils that attack the crew.
