From writer Joe Keatinge and artist Leila Del Duca, this French-language edition of Shutter opens with a striking cover that places a young woman mid-stride — her dark hair swept back, dressed in a red top and white boots — as she moves urgently through a world where a quirky black cartoon cat, a tiny flaming figure, and surreal background elements hint at something wonderfully strange. The sepia-toned cityscape swirling behind her gives the whole image a sense of momentum, as if she's stepping out of one reality and into another entirely.
