The final volume of Hiroumi Aoi's Shibuya Goldfish arrives with a cover that says it all — a determined young man stands his ground beneath the gaping, blood-red maw of a monstrous goldfish looming over a darkened cityscape, while several other characters lie sprawled and vulnerable below. This closing chapter carries the weight of everything the series has built, and the tension radiating from that cover composition makes it clear the conclusion doesn't hold back. A worthy send-off to one of manga's more memorably unsettling survival stories.
