Princesse Mononoke #1

This first volume of the French-language edition of Princess Mononoke adapts the first part of Hayao Miyazaki's acclaimed animated film. Published by Glénat in 2000, it presents the story of Ashitaka's journey to the west and his encounter with the wolf goddess Moro and the human-raised girl San, known as Princess Mononoke. The volume collects the opening chapters of the manga adaptation, faithfully translating the film's rich environmental and spiritual themes into comic form.
