A "Happy Birthday RoRo" banner, balloons, a towering cake, and a crowd of partygoers set the festive stage for this charming French comedy series from Goulesque and Widenlocher. Front and center, two older gents steal the show — one in a well-worn AC/DC tee looking decidedly unamused, while his grinning pal snaps a selfie tablet in hand, fully embracing the chaos around them. Bamboo Édition launched Papy Boomers in 2018, and this opening volume promises plenty of generational humor as yesterday's rockers navigate today's world.
