"Our Flag" #2 (October 1941) is an anthology featuring the patriotic superhero The Flag battling enemy forces during wartime, along with supporting stories. The Flag, dressed in star-spangled costume, confronts Nazi and enemy military threats across multiple scenarios, including defending against aerial bombardment of American cities. A secondary story titled "Glass" by Cliff Howe chronicles Deputy Anderson's investigation into a series of murders in the Seattle area, where the discovery of distinctive octagon-shaped gin bottles becomes the crucial clue linking criminals engaged in bootlegging and homicide.
