Mr. Mystic takes a countryside vacation with friends and encounters Japanese soldiers attempting to invade America. When his host Zenzo Shimizu is revealed to be leading the invasion, Mystic uses his magical powers to stop the attack on a nearby farm. Mystic then discovers that Zenzo's Japanese-American battalion friends, who are born in Hawaii and training with the Army, have been falsely accused of being spies, and he works to clear their names and protect them from suspicion.
