Six sharp-looking students in school uniforms — including a confident blonde girl at the center holding a red apple — stare out from this French-language edition of Nick Spencer, Joe Eisma, and Rodin Esquejo's Morning Glory Academy #1, published by Atlantic BD in 2011. The tagline "Un avenir meilleur" (A better future) hangs beneath them with a quietly unsettling promise, and the cool purple palette gives the whole scene an air of polished mystery. It's a stylish, intriguing opening to what looks like a very unconventional school story.
