A quiet intimacy defines this Dargaud album from 2010, its sepia-toned cover depicting a well-dressed man standing beside an armchair where a young woman — Lydie, one presumes — sits cradling what appears to be an infant, a vase of calla lilies resting nearby on a small table. The restrained palette and composed domestic scene suggest a story of tenderness and perhaps melancholy, rendered with real elegance by Lafebre and Zidrou.
