From the French publisher Les Humanoïdes Associés comes this charming opener to Les Tikitis, subtitled La Guerre des Cerveaux ("The War of the Brains"). The cover, created by Jerry Frissen and Fabien M., plunges us into a lush jungle where three masked luchador-style characters — wearing colorful ceremonial masks and loose white garb — peer out from between broad tropical leaves with a wonderfully conspiratorial air. It's a delightful collision of lucha libre culture and exotic adventure that makes this 2008 Lucha Libre imprint title an immediately inviting read.
