Les mégaventures de Maddox #1

The first volume of Les Mégaventures de Maddox kicks things off with "Alerte Bigfoot," and the cover immediately sets a fun, slightly nerve-wracking tone — two kids, one with green hair clutching a red ball and the other with teal hair, peer cautiously through what appears to be the enormous furry legs of a very large creature. Created by Félix Laflamme and Claude DesRosiers and published by Presses Aventure in 2018, this French-language adventure series looks like a perfect blend of humor and kid-friendly suspense. If the cover is any indication, Maddox and his companion are about to have a very close encounter of the cryptid kind.
