Les Femmes en Blanc #24

Volume 24 of the beloved Belgian medical comedy series Les Femmes en Blanc arrives with a title that winks at the reader — Si le Cœur Vous en Dit ("If Your Heart Desires") — and the cover delivers the joke immediately: a grinning orderly strolls out of the Bloc Opératoire (operating theatre) carrying a transparent box containing what appears to be a very large, very red heart, while a bemused nurse looks on and a masked surgeon peers out from behind the swinging doors. By Berroica and Cauvin, this 2003 Dupuis release keeps the series' signature blend of hospital absurdity and warm humor in fine form.
