The third volume of Le Merlu brings readers to "Les Routes de la Victoire," a wartime drama steeped in tension and earthy atmosphere. The cover — illustrated by Jérôme Phalippou from a story by Thierry Dubois — plunges us into a forest scene where an armed resistance fighter shouts defiantly beside a period military truck, a fallen comrade at his feet and soldiers visible in the shadowy background.
