Published by Futuropolis in 2008, this French graphic album from Franck Bourgeron announces itself with a striking burnt-orange cover that frames a tense physical confrontation between two bearded, rough-hewn figures, while a small solitary traveler with a bag watches quietly in the background. The subtitle fantaisie religieuse — "religious fantasy" — adds a layer of irreverent intrigue to the scene's raw, almost medieval energy.
