La Guerre du Retour contre attaque #5

T. Vivien's comedic Star Wars parody series reaches its fifth installment with this playfully illustrated French-language volume from Editions Jungle. The cover sets the tone perfectly: a chibi-style Luke Skywalker, a stubby Yoda, and a Darth Vader clutching what appears to be a tablet face off beneath a starfield dotted with a Death Star and TIE fighters, all rendered in T. Vivien's charming, irreverent style. If the title — L'Ultime Retour de la Guerre du Retour Contre Attaque — is any indication, the laughs in this 2019 release are going to be as oversized as the saga it lovingly skewers.
