Volume 4 of Gege Akutami's Jujutsu Kaisen arrives in this Ki-oon Shonen edition subtitled "Je vais te tuer" — "I'm going to kill you" — and the cover delivers on that menace immediately. A white-haired, wide-eyed figure lunges toward the viewer, mouth open and bloodied hand outstretched, a glowing point of cursed energy crackling at his fingertip against a stormy, deep-blue sky. It's a viscerally close-up, deeply unsettling image that captures the dark supernatural tension at the heart of this series perfectly.
