I Was Kidnapped by Lesbian Pirates from Outer Space #2
In this delightfully absurd follow-up, Susan comes to terms with her bizarre new reality: she’s been abducted by lesbian pirates from outer space. As the crew debates her fate, they ultimately leave her behind during a bank heist on Phlebon-6—just as the superhero Male Man, in his civilian guise, happens to be inside. Written and illustrated by Megan Rose Gedris, this 2008 issue blends sci-fi whimsy with deadpan humor, all wrapped in a cover by Gedris that captures the story’s quirky tone.

It takes a while, but Susan finally understands that the women who took her away in their space ship are pirates. As they plan their next raid, they disagree on whether they should take Susan along, but eventually they decide to leave her behind while they rob a bank on Phlebon-6. The superhero Male Man happens to be at the bank in his secret identity, but it takes him too long to change into his costume and the pirates escape.
