I Hate Fairyland #4

A storm of pink lightning and gleeful mayhem sets the stage for this fourth volume of Skottie Young's I Hate Fairyland, collected here by Urban Comics. The cover puts Gert front and center, wild-eyed and wielding an enormous axe alongside her plush companion Larry, while a cackling villain looms large in the thunderous sky above them. It's a wonderfully unhinged image that captures the series' signature blend of cute-on-the-surface, chaos-underneath energy perfectly.
